Indrayagus Slamet
Chief Executive Officer
Born in Jakarta in 1972, he has 2 children and graduated from Diploma IV STAN in 2002 and completed his Master's in Accounting, specializing in taxation, at the University of Indonesia in 2007. He currently teaches taxation and international taxation at the University of Indonesia's Master's program. He has a strong interest in International Taxation, and that's why he pursued further studies in international taxation in Seoul, South Korea, in 2010 and deepened his knowledge of transfer pricing in the Netherlands in 2015.
He had a long and varied career at the Directorate General of Taxation (DJP), serving as a civil servant in tax administration from 1995 until early 2011. However, he decided to change his profession and became a lecturer at the University of Indonesia (previously, he taught at Kwik Kian Gie School, the Faculty of Economics at UKI, and the Faculty of Economics at Trisakti University). In addition to his role as a lecturer, he is also a licensed tax consultant (Brevet C from IKPI) with an office at Plaza Sentral, 3rd floor, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, South Jakarta. He specializes in the preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation, Tax Audit, Tax Review, Tax Planning, and Tax Review application, primarily serving clients that are mostly Japanese, German, and Singaporean multinational corporations. He leads a professional team of 17 members. The tax audits he frequently handles are often focused on tax disputes related to transfer pricing and tax treaties. His last position at DJP (in 2007) was as the Head of Supervision and Consultation Section in Denpasar, Bali.
Since leaving DJP in 2011, he has continued to be entrusted by DJP to provide technical input regarding International Taxation, tax treaties, and transfer pricing, particularly for the entire AR-AR of Indonesia, including the Large Taxpayer Office (LTO) and special regions in Kalibata. His written works include "How to Detect Errors in Financial Reports" (specifically for internal DJP), "Tax Treaty for beginners" (published in late 2015), and the "Tax Regulation Learning Book for ARs throughout Indonesia." Since early 2016, he has been the Q&A host for International Taxation in the Indonesia Tax Review magazine (replacing the Godfather of tax treaties in Indonesia, the late Mr. Rachmanto Surahmat, who passed away at the age of 77). In addition to hosting the Q&A section, he has been conducting regular seminars on "tax treaties" and "transfer pricing" for the Lembaga Formasi as the Event Organizer in the past two years.
He has also founded his own consulting company, ITM & Partners, where he serves as the Managing Partner/Chief Executive Officer. In July 2022, the partners of ITM & Partners restructured the company into PT Indra Tax Management. The company is located at Plaza Sentral Building, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Kav - 47, Karet, Semanggi, South Jakarta 12930.
